Its objective is to examine the disclosure of identity among MSM, or what is known as gay in Thai society since antiquity. By collecting relevant information, the study's findings reveal that in earlier times, gay men endeavored to disclose their identities in order for society to accept their homosexuality, often by participating in various social activities and joining groups. This trend continued with the emergence of gay representation in various media outlets, including print media, product advertisements, news in newspapers, movies, books, journals, and social media platforms. Additionally, the identities of gay individuals are often disclosed through sexual activities, contributing to the emergence of the "gay entertainment business" in present-day of Thai society.</p> Kritchatorn Chaivinit Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0 2025-10-31 2025-10-31 15 3 97 108
