The study adopted Herzberg’s Two-Factor Theory and the Work-Life Balance concept of Merrill & Merrill as the main conceptual framework. The sample group consisted of 300 personnel from the central office of Budget Bureau, determined using Taro Yamane’s formula. A questionnaire was used as the data collection tool. The reliability of the questionnaire, tested using Cronbach’s alpha, was 0.924, indicating a high level of reliability. The data were analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics. Independent sample t-test and One-way ANOVA were used to examine the effects of personal factors, while multiple regression analysis was used for motivational factors. The results showed that the overall work-life balance of personnel was at a moderate level. Personal factors such as age, number of children, and number of family members showed statistically significant differences in work-life balance. Furthermore, motivating factors including work achievement, recognition, and career advancement positively influenced all aspects of work-life balance. In addition, hygiene factors, such as organizational policies, job security, and remuneration, played a key role in reducing employee dissatisfaction. These results can be applied to develop policies and strategies that promote work-life balance in government organizations, including enabling personnel to live and work with greater happiness and efficiency.</p>2025-04-14T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTThttps://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JLA/article/view/6593Readiness of Thai Banking Employees for English Email Correspondence in International Trade Finance: Opportunities and Challenges 2025-03-24T09:23:30+07:00Suttida Ruttanasirivilailertsuttida_r@mail.rmutt.ac.thWanpen Poomarinwanpen_p@rmutt.ac.thBenjaporn Meeprombenjaporn@rmutt.ac.th<p>As Thailand’s banking sector becomes increasingly integrated into the global economy, English proficiency has emerged as a vital skill for effective communication especially in international trade finance. This study investigated the readiness of Thai banking employees to use English for email communication in trade finance operations. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research incorporated questionnaires, competency tests, and semi-structured interviews to assess language proficiency, challenges in written correspondence, and the impact of English skills on professional performance. The study involved 35 purposively selected banking employees. The findings indicated that while employees recognized the importance of English in their roles, they faced persistent difficulties with grammar, technical vocabulary, and complex sentence structures. Statistical analyses showed differences in language proficiency based on demographic factors, work experience, and exposure to international transactions. Despite these challenges, participants affirmed that email was the primary mode of workplace communication, highlighting the urgent need for improved writing skills to enhance clarity and professionalism. The study recommends the implementation of targeted English training programs, with a focus on writing and specialized vocabulary relevant to banking operations. Enhancing employees’ English proficiency can boost operational efficiency and support Thailand’s competitiveness in the global financial landscape. Addressing language barriers is therefore essential for ensuring smooth and internationally compliant trade finance transactions.</p>2025-05-26T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTThttps://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JLA/article/view/5084The Success Factors of School for Community Development to Community Empowerment: Case Study of Wat Mai Dong Sak School Impact to Ban Tha Tien, Sai Yok Sub-District, Sai Yok District, Kanchanaburi Province2024-07-01T07:52:53+07:00Nutpatcha Dachanutpatcha.d@gmail.comChairat Wongkitrungruang wchairat@hotmail.com<p> Wat Mai Dong Sak School had the dominant roles to Ban Tha Tien community, this community was selected to be the role model for community empowerment by Kanchanaburi Province.
