The efficiency of student cadres at the university directly affects the overall process of student work. The research objectives are: 1) to study factors of role productivity and work efficiency of student cadres in the university; 2) to study the factors that influence the work efficiency of student cadres in the university; and 3) to propose a new model for the work efficiency of student cadres in the university. This study takes ordinary students from Hainan Tropical Ocean University as the research object and uses a survey questionnaire as a data collection tool to conduct a survey on 630 respondents. 623 questionnaires were collected, with 616 valid questionnaires and an effective rate of 97.7%. The questionnaire had reliability (0.98) and validity (0.96). All respondents evaluated the leadership, executive force, learning ability, credibility, and innovation of student cadres. For university student cadres, leadership, executive force, credibility, and innovation are all related to their work efficiency. Multiple regression analysis (stepwise) was used to test the research hypothesis, and the results show that the productivity role of student cadres is closely related to work efficiency, and leadership, executive force, credibility, and innovation all have a significant positive impact on work efficiency.
2023-10-24T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT https://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JLA/article/view/3201 Storytelling of Camping Tourism Towards Sustainable Tourism Management 2023-08-07T09:46:42+07:00 Wanwisa Ploy Insawang [email protected] Pitak Siriwong [email protected]
This research aimed to study the stories of campers and provide guidelines for sustainable camping tourism management. Through the storytelling of the experience of camping tourism, the researcher reflected the thoughts of the group of camping tourists, in which the researcher had the status of an "inside group" (Emic) by means of Critical Autoethnography. The sample group included 15 campers with more than 3 years of experience. The research instruments were informal in-depth interviews with emphasis on dialogue and mutual experience along with participant observation. The results showed that with current social trends, the form of camping tourism has changed regarding both physical characteristics such as camping sites, equipment, and facilities as well as the behavioral characteristics of the new generation of campers. As a result, there must be a guideline for managing such tourism to be sustainable, covering all 4 dimensions: 1) Sustainable management, 2) Maximizing benefits and reducing negative social impacts, 3) Increasing benefits and reducing negative cultural impacts on communities and tourists, and 4) increasing benefits and reducing negative impacts on the environment to maximize the benefits from sustainable and persistent camping.
2023-12-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT https://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JLA/article/view/3824 Influences of the Service Marketing Mix on Service Decision Making at Buffet Restaurants in 5-Star Hotels in Bangkok 2023-10-30T10:56:27+07:00 Thiyapa Sathiankomsorakrai [email protected] Kanokporn Krutpapan [email protected] Bussara Tungsiriphatphorn [email protected]
The objectives of this research were 1) to compare the service decision making at buffet restaurants in 5-Star Hotels in Bangkok categorized by personal factors, and 2) to study the service marketing mix influences on service decision making at buffet restaurants in 5-Star hotels in Bangkok Metropolitan. It aims to establish connections that can motivate and drive tourists to engage in travel activities. The research utilizes a qualitative research methodology through studying documents and conducting non-participatory observations, as well as analyzing data through content analysis.

The study found that beliefs and faith in the area of Phatthalung province can be divided into three categories: 1) Beliefs related to sacred objects, 2) Beliefs related to local teachers or important figures and 3) Beliefs associated with religious ideologies. These beliefs and faith, which stem from the origin of sacred rituals, have promoted the development of the belief-related tourism in the area. As a result, tourists have been increasingly visiting the region each year. The relevant organizations have been fostering the faith-based tourism, enhancing the physical development of the sacred sites, and improving access routes to tourist destinations. This faith-based tourism allows travelers to gain knowledge about the history of the place and the interconnected historical narratives. For instance, the connection between Wat Khao Om and the legendary Khun Phan heritage in the southern region serves as an external factor that captivates tourists who value history. In addition to the internal factors influenced by personal beliefs and faith, which impact thoughts and travel decisions, historical factors play a significant role in attracting tourists who prioritize historical significance. Thus, these factors collectively contribute to the motivation and decision-making process for tourists' travel and tourism experiences.

2023-12-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT https://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JLA/article/view/2791 An Analysis of Slang Words Used in the Animation “How to Train Your Dragon” 2023-07-21T08:16:36+07:00 Nuntapong Wuttavipart [email protected] Nipat Pho-ong [email protected] Sutthasinee Ngamkaew [email protected] Pakjira U-thorn [email protected] Tawatchai Chaisiri [email protected]
Animation movies have become increasingly popular among people of all ages, including children. It was found that the leather selection wisdom for traditional shadow puppets was cows leathers chosen from calves or young cows. In contemporary age, animal skins that are popular for carving are cow, buffalo and other animal skins. The leather preparation in traditional time, when the animal skins were obtained, they were stretched taut to remove the fascia and animal fat that was attached, and buried in sand. In the traditional era, the animal skins will be tanned by soaking in water, boiling Garcinia or citrus fruits for 1-2 nights. In contemporary tanning, the dried leather is soaked in the water mixed with the vinegar to be slightly sour, for over an hour, and sometimes the leather is bought from the factory. The artisan applies the stylus or scratch awl to draw on the leather to create the traditional styles of the shadow puppet in the contemporary age, artisans keep the sketch of their ancestors to use as a style to create current shadow puppet characters. For the original carving method, the artisan chose some parts to engrave on the top and bottom of the shadow puppet. The essential tools for carving two ages included a chopping block as a mat for engraving, Tuttu or Mook as a hollow punch, and a carving knife. For the shadow puppet coloring, the leaf stalk of Nipa palm or Rattan was applied as a traditional paintbrush, and the primary color was black. In the contemporary age, leather coloring depended on picture style and utility. Making Mai Tup was similar in two ages by using a suitable stick as a core stick made from the bamboo that was not too young or old. Making controlling stick as a tool to pull the mouth part of the shadow puppet characters up or down was also similar in two ages. The sharpened bamboo was bent by holding it over the fire. Some artisans applied the plastic to sharpen it into a round shape and bounded it with the plastic band. The shadow puppet carving has remained the wisdom with essentially cultural capital. It has kept changing, adjusting, and maintaining interestingly in the contemporary age.
2023-12-21T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Journal of Liberal Arts RMUTT
