The sample group consisted of 10 households from the Agricultural Productivity Enhancement Learning Center community network of animal feed corn growers, located in Khok Cham Rae Subdistrict, Thung Si Udom District, Ubon Ratchathani Province, covering a total cultivation area of 10 rai The research involved developing a demonstration learning center for an IoT-based Smart Farm irrigation system for animal feed corn, serving as a practical learning resource for farmers both within and outside the community. This center allowed participants to study and practice using the irrigation system in real agricultural settings The study results showed that the IoT-based irrigation system for animal feed corn fields led to: A 40% reduction in electricity consumption, An 80% reduction in farmers’ workload related to watering activities, and A 40% reduction in water usage. Furthermore, the use of the system provided farmers with more free time from routine farm tasks, enabling them to engage in additional income-generating activities such as organic fertilizer production, azolla (red fern) cultivation, cassava stem trading, and vegetable farming, which helped enhance household income and quality of life.
2025-11-20T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RMUTL Journal of Socially Engaged Scholarshiphttps://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JsesRMUTL/article/view/4809Development guideline of an electric pump operation control system via a smartphone for separated water distribution for agroforestry plots2025-06-09T15:26:53+07:00Ratchaneewan Munsawaengratchaneewan.mu@up.ac.thสิทธิเดช วชิราศรีศิริกุลratchaneewan.mu@up.ac.th
With the guidelines for developing an operation control system of an electric pump via a smartphone for the separated water supply for the agroforestry plots in an administrative area of village no. 5, nonglom subdistrict, dok khamtai district, phayao province, there are the objectives to develop the electric pump operation control system by using the smartphone and to distribute the water separately for the agroforestry plots. For the operation methods, there are 3 steps as follows: 1) study the overall data in the area, 2) analyze and select the equipments, and 3) design and compose the circuit. The operation results are described in 3 parts as follows: 1) test the Wi-Fi settings of the smart farm set, 2) test the use via the smartphone, and 3) test the operation of the system so that it can be used according to the expected test. This paper proposes the guidelines for developing the operation control system of electric pump by using the smartphone for the separated water distribution for the agroforestry plots. For the interested people, they can design the separated area from the number of water sprinklers which are calculated by dividing the distance between plants by the total area cultivated in the square meters. In addition, they can calculate the water use efficiency of the water sprinklers from the analysis of the electric water pump property. Besides, they can still design the operation control circuit of the electric pump via the smartphone which the communities can get the benefits and also can use as a model for the development or can implement in various works.
2025-12-04T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RMUTL Journal of Socially Engaged Scholarshiphttps://so07.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/JsesRMUTL/article/view/5053Creative Capacity Development of Community-Based Entrepreneurs to Support the Local Creative Economy in San Pong Subdistrict, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province2025-05-22T12:07:03+07:00sasipat sunkolkitsasisun@rmutl.ac.th

This study aims to explore approaches for enhancing the competitive capacity of community-based creative entrepreneurs in San Pong Subdistrict, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province. The research employed a participatory action research methodology in combination with a mixed methods approach, incorporating both qualitative and quantitative techniques. Data were collected from local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and local government officials through in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and quantitative surveys. The findings reveal that effective capacity development for community entrepreneurs involves fostering community participation, enhancing skills and knowledge through training activities, utilizing local resources and indigenous wisdom efficiently, developing distinctive products, and establishing collaborative networks. These strategies contribute to strengthening local creative economies and expanding market opportunities. The research emphasizes the importance of integrated support systems that combine local identity with creative entrepreneurship to promote sustainable development at the community level.
2025-10-29T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 RMUTL Journal of Socially Engaged Scholarship
