Creating sculptures in public spaces promotes the art, culture, and identity of the community along the dam area and the market community in Muang District, Ratchaburi Province.

The Sculpture Creation for Public Space to promote Art Culture and local Identity. Case study of River Bank area. Ratchaburi Province. Firstly, the researchers collected primary data from a survey of the study area and also research on historical documents, cultural, knowledge, way of life and related arts. Then, analyzed to design a sculpture that can convey Ratchaburi identity or represents the way of life of Ratchaburi people in the past. The researchers want the creative work that is created to bring back the original roots along with preserving it to remain. Therefore, the story is conveyed through the form of contemporary sculpture where people can interact or make use of its in various ways.

In conducting this research, two large-scale sculptures were created and installed at an old dam along the Mae Klong River, mueang Ratchaburi District. And for greater social impact The sculpture has also been translated into three prototype lamp products. Proceed to register a patent and exhibit design work in Department of Applied Arts Studies International Collaboration Profect 2023. For the resulting prototype works, community can be learned, improved, extended and developed to lead to the production process for distribution until being able to continue generating income for the community.

The Wutthakat community is located in the area of an ancient temple, it has royal architecture in the reign of King Rama III and the community has a diverse heritage of wisdom in the community. The research project was performed out using a mixed methods research design. A group of local elders was interviewed for qualitative study. Local artists, creatives, agency representatives, academics, and specialists to be evaluated, synthesized, and combined with theories to design a creative recreation area for cultural tourism.

The study indicated that 1) Wutthakat community context Famous tourist destinations, Thai-Chinese cultural resources influenced by King Rama III, and intellectual heritage like the Pi-phat Kru Thongkham group are its strengths, Cockatoo-tiger stabbing game, etc. 2) Wutthakat seniors live simply, be self-sufficient and happy with your home and enjoy group fun and relaxing activities. 3) The possibility of local expenses to develop an identity that matches community elderly behavior and encourage beautiful creation Preservation and emphasis on the area's original attractiveness are its goals.

The Consciousness of the Chinese Descendant's Inheritance to the Antecedent's Roots

This article is part of a research project on the transmission of identity through the practice of traditional rituals among Thai-Chinese, a culture rich in heritage. It examines the history of ancestors who migrated from mainland China to Thailand during the 18th to 20th centuries. These immigrants faced significant challenges in their struggle for survival, including government policies aimed at controlling communism, which led to political oppression and discrimination from the Thai population. Despite these difficulties, Chinese immigrants played an important role in driving Thailand’s economy by establishing businesses and becoming key players in trade and commerce.

However, anti-communist policies and societal prejudices forced many Chinese immigrants to assimilate into Thai society through intermarriage with Thais and the adoption of Thai names and surnames, resulting in a crisis of Chinese identity that has diminished in subsequent generations. Despite these challenges, the Thai-Chinese community has continued to strive to preserve their cultural heritage and build an economy based on tradition.

In contemporary times, the world is rapidly changing, and the Chinese identity among younger generations seems to be fading. Interest in traditional rituals is diminishing and may not align with modern lifestyles. Practices such as ancestor worship, setting up altars at home, and the complexities of Chinese offerings are becoming less prevalent. This article explores the transformation of Thai-Chinese ritual practices from traditional methods to adapted forms by analyzing historical records, documents, and related research. The research hypothesis posits that preserving and practicing traditional rituals is crucial for strengthening family bonds and creating a unique identity for the Chinese community in Thailand. Thai-Chinese descendants recognize that their Chinese heritage is deeply connected to their ancestral roots. This connection fosters an appreciation for practicing Chinese traditions, vital for preserving their cultural heritage. Amidst a rapidly evolving society, how can traditional rituals retain their value and spirit for future generations? If these practices cannot adapt to the modern era, leveraging digital technology and multimedia communication might help sustain and modernize cultural heritage for the younger generation.

This research have a purpose to explore trends and analyze patterns graffiti style that occur among Thai artists in the period 2023-2024, with methods for collecting their works Thai graffiti artist no less than 200 works and interviews with artists. Number of not less than 10 artists to inquire about information and the artist's work process. By selecting random samples without specifying the sample.

The study found that there are 4 styles of graffiti art trends: 1.) letters sprayed with deep dimensions 2.) sprayed on stencil paper 3.) cartoon images or characters. and finally 4.) it is a picture that reflects a perspective. The highest number from the survey is that the number one is a type of letter that is sprayed with deep dimensions. and the second is a cartoon image or character. and the third is a picture that reflects perspective. And the last one is spray-painted on stencil paper. And the next issue are places to create graffiti, the first is public walls and the second is abandoned buildings, and the third is overpass and under bridge, respectively.
