This research study aims to develop a brain-based mathematics teaching model at the secondary level and to study the results of using a brain-based mathematics teaching model at the secondary level. The research was divided into 3 phases, a sample group of students in Mathayom 5 at Ratchawinit Bang Kaeo School Samut Prakan Secondary Educational Service Area Office. The tools used in the experiment consisted of 1) a brain-based mathematics teaching model. Secondary level 2) Learning management plan 3) Academic achievement test 4) Attitude test towards mathematics. Statistics used in data analysis include mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research results
- Brain-Based mathematics teaching model. Secondary level that is consistent and appropriate for all 6 main elements, which are 1) Review previous knowledge 2) Objectives 3) Content 4) The teaching steps consist of: Relaxation step Experience linking step Content learning step Practice step and knowledge retention step. 5) Evaluation, and 6) Application results.
- Results of using the brain-based mathematics teaching model at the secondary level, it was found that students who were taught according to the brain-based mathematics teaching model Secondary level have academic achievement in mathematics and have an attitude towards mathematics higher than students receiving normal teaching statistically significant at the .05 level.
