The objectives of this academic were: 1) to study the methods of Buddhist service for Thai society in the United Kingdom, and 2) to present the religious activities of the Buddhist missionary monks of the Dhammapadipa temple, Scotland. By using the method of extracting lessons from synthetic experiences into new knowledge, along with analysis of logical situation information together with a review of related concepts, theories, and literature. Including guidelines for leading. The principles of Buddhism (Dhamma) are applied in service work, such as; the 4 Brahmavihara principle, the 4 Sangahavatthu principle, and the 4 Iddipada principle, which were considered the application of worldly concepts and religious concepts altogether. Moreover, giving importance to conservation in terms of Thai language, culture, and traditions to bring benefit, happiness, satisfaction, and peace of mind to laymen and laywomen who receive services under good morals.
The research found that Thai temples are considered the center of Thai society in the United Kingdom. Therefore, they must be ready to provide services for taking care of Thai people, such as social services, language services, religion services, art services, culture services, and recreation, by using Buddhism as a medium. Moreover, the concept of religious tourism should be promoted along with the concept of Buddhist services way, because it can create interest and play a role in making Buddhists travel closer to the temple. However, some limitations were found in the service process, for example, the scope of the Buddhist monastic code (Dhamma-Vinaya), and space limitations.
