The objectives of this study were to investigate and compare the people perception of public information in Nonthaburi Metropolitan Area in 4 aspects; open choices of public information, informational attention, perception and interpretation, and choices of remembrance. The research samples of 400 were drawn from people who resided in the Nonthaburi Metropolitan Area, Mueng District, Nonthaburi Province. The research instrument utilized survey-based quantitative questionnaires and applied statistical procedures such as frequency, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-way ANOVA and Least Significant Difference (LSD)
The research results found that the overall people perception of public information in Nonthaburi Metropolitan Area was at high level. When subdivided into individual aspects, the people perception of public information in all aspects were at high level; however, the ranking structure from high to low as follows, informational attention, open choices of public information, choices of remembrance,and perception and interpretation. The tests of paired personal factors and their impact on perception of public information revealed that gender, age, educational level, occupation, and monthly income made differences in people perception of public information of Nonthaburi Metropolitan Area at .05 statistical significance.
