Publication Ethics for Articles in the Journal

Academic Journal of Rajapruk University prioritizes maintaining ethical standards in the publication of research articles. Therefore, all parties involved must strictly adhere to the principles and standards of publication ethics as follows:

Roles and Responsibilities of Editors and Editorial Board

  1. Editors and the editorial board are responsible for reviewing and evaluating all submitted articles for publication, ensuring that the content aligns with the journal's goals and scope. They must also assess article quality during the review process before publication.
  2. Decisions on articles must be based on academic reasoning, free from bias toward the authors or their work.
  3. Editors and the editorial board must not have any conflicts of interest with the authors or reviewers, whether for personal or professional gain.
  4. Editors and the editorial board must not obstruct, alter, or interfere with the information exchanged between reviewers and authors.
  5. Editors and the editorial board must strictly follow the journal's established procedures and guidelines.

Roles and Responsibilities of Authors

  1. Articles submitted for publication must not have been previously published or disseminated elsewhere.
  2. Authors must properly cite all references when presenting or including the works of others and must avoid plagiarism.
  3. If the research involves animals, participants, or sensitive issues, authors must adhere to ethical principles, follow relevant laws and regulations, and obtain informed consent prior to data collection. Documentation, such as certification from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Animal Ethics Committee, must be submitted where applicable.
  4. Authors must agree to transfer copyright to the journal prior to publication and refrain from publishing the work elsewhere after it has been published in Ratchaphruek University Academic Journal.
  5. The authors listed in the article must have genuinely contributed to the work.

Roles and Responsibilities of Reviewers

  1. Reviewers must not have conflicts of interest with the authors. Article evaluations must focus on the quality of the manuscript, be based on academic principles, and be free from personal bias or conflicts.
  2. Reviewers must ensure they possess the expertise and knowledge necessary to evaluate the content of the assigned article effectively.
  3. Reviewers must not seek to benefit from the articles they evaluate.
  4. If a reviewer discovers that an article under review plagiarizes another work, they must promptly inform the editor and provide clear evidence.
  5. Reviewers must adhere to the journal's evaluation timeline and ensure confidentiality by not disclosing any information about the article to others.
