Abstract

Abstract


            This research aimed 1) to study the administration based on the good governance of school administrators, 2) to compare the administration based on the good governance of school administrators, and 3) study guidelines for the development of administration based on the good governance of school administrators. The samples were 291 teachers, and key informants. The research determined the sample size by using Krejcie and Morgan Table and using proportional simple randomization. The research instruments were a 5-rating scale questionnaire with a reliability value of .91 and a semi-structured interview. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, LSD , and content analysis.


            The results of the research were as follows: 1) the administration based on the good governance of school administrators were at a high level, in overall and particular aspects, ranking from the highest to the lowest mean : Responsibility , Morality, Transparency , Rule of law , Value, and Participation respectively, 2) the comparison of the administration based on the good governance of school administrators, classified by gender was statistically significant at the .01 level, while the differential experience was statistically significant at the .05 level, whereas the opinions of the teachers classified by school size were not statistically significant, and  3) guidelines for the development of administration based on the good governance of school administrators under the secondary education service area office Bangkok 1 , group 5. it was found that (1) Rule of law: the administrators must adhere to and abide by the laws, regulations, and government regulations. and are enforced fairly and equally, (2) Morality: The administrators must perform their duties with honesty and integrity and uphold the highest governmental interests. fair and neutral, and being a good role model for subordinates, (3) Transparency: the administrators must use budgets accurately, verify them, and prepare information systematically. and continually disseminate accurate information, (4) Participation: The administrators must provide opportunities for all sectors to play a role in the operations of educational institutions. Meetings were held to exchange ideas with school committees, teachers, communities, and other organisations, (5) Responsibility: The administrators must clearly define policies and goals. Responsible for overseeing, directing, monitoring, and reporting results continuously, and (6) Value: The administrators must allocate limited resources to the most cost-effective and beneficial to the management of education.
