LEADERSHIP STYLE OF COMMUNITY LEADER AND THE HAPPINESS OF PEOPLE IN PAKPLEE SUBDISTRICT, PAKPLEE DISTRICT, NAKHON NAYOK PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of this research was to study leadership style of community leader and the happiness of people in Pakplee Subdistrict, Pakplee District, Nakhon Nayok Province. To study relationship between leadership and people happiness.The research sampling were 100 respondents. The instrument used in this study was the self-constructed survey questionnaire. The statistics used for data analyses were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient. The research findings were as follows : 1. The leadership style of community leader and the happiness of people in Pakplee Subdistrict, Pakplee District, Nakhon Nayok Province as a whole were at the high level. The highest mean score were as follows ; 1) the leader enjoy and actively work, 2) the leader poses good health, high ethical and moral conducted. The lowest mean score were ; 1) frequently participate with the community, 2) participating with the people and organization both internal and external community, also competent to be the leader of the community. 2.The happiness of people in Pakplee Subdistrict,Pakplee District, Nakhon Nayok Province were at the high level. The highest mean score were ; 1) having free-time in a holiday with family, 2) joining cultural and traditional activities, 3) having a good neighbor in helping. The lowest mean score were ; 1) actively in working, 2) safety and security. 3. The leadership style of the community leader were significantly related to the happiness of the people in the community at .01
