Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the level of operational efficiency. The relationship between the principles of good morals and the performance of work and guidelines for the development of operational efficiency of the sub-district municipality personnel in Mueang Suphan Buri District Suphanburi Province by a combined research. From the study, the following results have been discovered: The efficiency in work performance based on Iddhipāda of personnel at the Subdistrict Municipality in Mueang Suphan Buri District, Suphanburi Province found to be overall at a high level. When each aspect is considered, personnel has work performance in all aspects according to Iddhipāda at a high level namely, Chanda (aspiration), and followed by Viriya (effort), Citta (thoughtfulness), and Vīmaṃsā (investigation). The efficiency in work performance of personnel at the Subdistrict Municipality in Mueang Suphan Buri District, Suphanburi Province found to be overall at a high level. When each aspect is considered, all aspects are found to be at a high level which are amount of work and speed. Following that, quality of work and being economical, respectively. The correlation between work performance based on Iddhipāda and the efficiency in work performance of personnel at the Subdistrict Municipality in Mueang Suphan Buri District, Suphanburi Province has found to be positively correlated in the same direction at a high level, with a statistical significance of 0.01. When each aspect is considered, it has been revealed that all aspects are positively correlated in the same direction at a high level which are Vīmaṃsā, Viriya, Citta, and Chanda. The guidelines for developing the efficiency in work performance of personnel at the Subdistrict Municipality in Mueang Suphan Buri District, Suphanburi Province are as follows: 1) On Chanda (aspiration), which involves personnel development based on the nature of each individual's thinking. Each person's mentality is different; some people are enthusiastic about their work, while others despise it. Administrators must ensure that all personnel are pleased and satisfied with their work performance, which may be accomplished through the development of body of knowledge and the raising of personnel awareness. (2)OnViriya (effort), which entails the creation of clear guidelines for work performance in order for personnel to act as planned and work with perseverance and patience in the face of difficulties and hardship, as well as making an effort to gain additional knowledge in order to improve work performance efficiency and achieve the set goals. (3)On Citta (thoughtfulness), which entails paying attention to work performance, with administrators planning, defining clear work procedures, working together to improve and review work, and performing work with determination and attention so that the job may be completed on time and efficiently as planned. (4) OnVimaṃsā (investigation), which entails using wisdom to investigate and find reasons to perform work, and in which administrators should develop personnel with clear standards to plan and review work, analyze problems, and define shared roles and duties under regulations, law, and rules in order to reduce errors in work and set the correct guidelines for work performance.
