Relationship Between the Decision-Making and Academic Affairs Administration of the School under Educational Service Area Office Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram

Abstract
The objectives of this research were to 1) to study the decision-making process level of school administrators, 2) to study the academic affairs administration level of school administrators, and 3) to study the relationship between decision-making process and the academic affairs administration of school administrators. The sample group used in the study were 300school administrators and teachers under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram in Academic Year 2020. The questionnaire was used as a study tool. The statistics used in the data analysis were number, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson correlation coefficient.
The results of the research were as follows: 1) the decision-making process of the school administrators in overall was at a high level. The result after considering each aspect found that the search for alternatives aspect was the first priority for decision making. The decision-making for alternatives aspect was at a high level, followed by problem determination, decision making, compliance with the decision, evaluating results, providing feedback and evaluating alternatives. The decision-making was at a high level, 2) the academic affairs administration of school administrators in overall was at a high level. The result after considering each aspect found that the learning process development aspect was the first one for academic administration. The academic affairs administration was at a high level, followed by measurement, evaluation, and transferring of academic results, the internal educational quality assurance system development. The academic affairs administration was at a high level, and 3) The decision-making process was in the same direction and had a relative high correlation with the academic affairs administration of school administrators (r=0.724) with a statistical significance at .01 level.
