Guidelines for the Management of Student Development Activities in Medium-Sized Schools under the Secondary Education Service Area Office Bangkok 1 Group 4

Abstract

This research’s purpose was to 1) study the Student Development Activities Management of Child Development Center Administrators in Medium-Sized Schools under the Local Administrative Organization of Pakchong District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, and 2) study the guidelines for the Student Development Activities Management. The sample were 163 administrators and teachers determined based on Krejcie and Morgan’s sample size table. The research instruments were a 5 rating scales questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.98 and a structural interview form. The data was analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and content analysis.


          The results were as follows; 1) the Student Development Activities Management in overall was at a high level and when considered in each aspect the results show that the student activity aspect had the most practices and a highest mean, the following aspect was the social and public benefit activities and a lot of practices that had been done, the lowest mean was for the guidance service, 2) the guidelines for the Student Development Activities Management in Medium-Sized Schools had 3 ways, 2.1) administrators and teachers must let students to participate and do the self-assessment through questionnaire, 2.2) administrators and teachers must encourage students to observe their feeling when they received help or how they feel when they give through the social and public benefit activities, 2.3) administrators and teachers must analyze each student to gain information that is accessible to group students according to their interest and talent. Therefore, the results of Student Development Activities Management enable students to develop themselves according to their full potential.
