Posted on 2026-07-17Journal of Integrative and Innovative Humanities (JIIH) is pleased to invite scholars, researchers, academics, and graduate students to submit manuscripts for publication in Vol. 6, No. 2 (2026).
JIIH publishes scholarship from, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Literature and literary studies
- Languages and linguistics
- Philosophy and ethics
- History and historiography
- Religious studies
- Cultural studies
- Psychology and behavioral studies from humanistic, cultural, historical, or interpretive perspectives
- Media, film, and communication studies
- Visual arts, music, performance, and design
- Heritage, museums, and memory studies
- Digital humanities
- Environmental humanities
- Medical and health humanities
- Blue and oceanic humanities
- Public humanities
- Comparative and world humanities
- Indigenous and local knowledge studies
- Gender, sexuality, identity, and embodiment studies
- Humanistic studies of science, technology, and artificial intelligence
The journal particularly welcomes research that integrates humanities perspectives with insights from the social sciences, behavioral sciences, natural sciences, engineering, health sciences, environmental studies, and creative practice, provided that the research is guided by humanistic questions, theories, or interpretive methodologies. Such integrative work may examine complex issues including sustainability, climate change, migration, digital transformation, cultural heritage, health and well-being, cognition, behavior, social justice, and human–environment relationships.
Types of Submissions
The journal welcomes the following types of manuscripts:
- Original research articles
- Academic articles
- Book reviews
- Review articles
Manuscript Requirements:
Manuscripts should be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Length: The journal does not have a strict word limit but it is recommended that the manuscript be no longer than 7000 words (excluding references)
Format: Manuscripts should follow the latest APA style for citations and references.

Abstract: Each submission must include an abstract of up to 300 words.
Keywords: Include 4-6 keywords relevant to your paper.
Submission Process:
Manuscript Submission: no later than 31 August 2026
Review Process: receive review results no later than 30 September 2026
All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer review process.
Publication Date: by the end of November 2026
