About the Journal
Aim and Scopes:
JCAS aims to support and inform researchers, scientists, and scholars, administrators, educators, emerging and established researchers, and policy makers interested in all facets of business, education, tourism, and arts related to Southeast Asian countries and China through the publication of original research that advances knowledge, theory and practice in the field include:

Peer Review Process: Manuscript will be firstly screened by editorial team whether or not the manuscript is related to the scope of journal, as well as the template and reference style. If the manuscript is not match with the scope, it may be desk-rejected at the first stage. If the scope and template meet the above requirement, the manuscript will be sent to peer-review process, the editorial team has duty to reply the result of review to the author(s) as soon as the reviewer return the result.
Types of articles: Research Articles / Review Articles
Publication Frequency: JCAS publishes twice a year in June and December (January – June; July – December).
Language: English and Chinese
Publication Policy: JCAS only considers manuscripts that have not been previously published in other journal, conference or any kind of publication before, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Article Processing Charge: JCAS is an open access publication that does not charge any processing fees including submission, review and publication.

Types of manuscripts:
• Original research articles: The manuscripts should be about 5,000-8,000 words. The manuscripts must include a review of the existing state of knowledge on the research question(s) of interest, and then share new information or new ideas that will influence the situation of theory and/or practice in the field of China-ASEAN Studies.
• Review article: The manuscripts should be about 1,500-3,500. The manuscripts must include the current state of understanding on a particular topic about studies of Southeast Asian countries and China by analysing and discussing research previously published by others
