Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) develop a Nora performance practice package for students in the Thai classical dance club at Wat Klang School (Rakrat Uppatham), 2) compare students’ achievement before and after using the Nora performance practice package, and 3) examine students’ satisfaction toward the practice package. This study employed purposive sampling. The sample group consisted of 20 students from the Thai classical dance club of Wat Klang School (Rakrat Uppatham) in the 2025 academic year (B.E. 2568). The research instruments included: 1) a behavioral survey based on the Six Personality Dimensions Model, 2) a 20-hour practice package, and 3) a satisfaction assessment form regarding the practice package. The statistics used for data analysis were the Priority Needs Index (PNI), mean, standard deviation (S.D.), t-test, and the Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC). The research findings revealed that: 1) the developed Nora performance practice package for students in the Thai classical dance club at Wat Klang School (Rakrat Uppatham) was rated at the highest level of appropriateness, with an IOC value of 0.94; 2) students’ achievement after using the practice package was significantly higher than before using it at the .05 level of statistical significance. The mean score before using the practice package was ( = 3.75, S.D. = 1.30), while the mean score after the practice was (
= 8.85, S.D. = 0.85). The comparison of pre-learning and post-learning achievement indicated that students’ learning achievement significantly improved at the .05 level. The mean pre-test score was (
= 9.15, S.D. = 1.68), whereas the mean post-test score increased to (
= 15.25, S.D. = 0.99); and 3) students’ satisfaction after using the practice package was at the highest level (
= 4.87, S.D. = 0.13).
