EDUCATIONAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT OF FEMALE ADMINISTRATORS IN THE DIGITAL ERA: A BIOGRAPHICAL RESEARCH OF DR. SORNPRAPHA SIRIPHATRAWICH

Abstract
This research aimed to: 1) study the life history of Dr. Sornprapa Siriphatrawit, Principal of Satri Sri Suriyothai School, from childhood to becoming a successful school principal; 2) analyze factors and contexts influencing her educational leadership development; and 3) synthesize lessons and guidelines from her life as a model for developing female educational administrators. A biographical qualitative research design was employed; the study received ethics committee approval and informed consent from the participant. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document analysis, and observation, and were analyzed using Narrative Analysis and Content Analysis. Findings revealed three major turning points: mentorship guidance from her aunt, appointment as deputy principal at age 28, and a study exchange in Japan. Four leadership development factors were identified: life mentorship, positive thinking personality, continuous self-development, and proof through performance. Five core lessons emerged: timing matters more than speed; communication is the heart of leadership; prove through work not words; build a team before leading it; and do your best without regret. In contrast to Western studies emphasizing direct advocacy strategies, this research contributes new knowledge regarding social media as a signal amplifier for female administrators' influence in the digital age, bypassing traditional power structures - suggesting that leadership labyrinth navigation strategies must be adapted to cultural context.
