Abstract
This article aims to study: (1) The Survey results for character of Knowledge and Academic Capability of graduate in community development from Program in community development. (2) Guidelines for character of Knowledge and Academic Capability of graduate in community development from Program in community development. Mixed methods, Questionnaires were used to collect data from 284 Graduate users. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation. Furthermore, qualitative information from in-depth interviews with 20 key purposing informants; Graduate users, Graduate of community development and graduate producers were also used to voice their views. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The findings revealed as follows: (1) The Survey results for character of Knowledge and Academic Capability of graduate in community development from Program in community development; Average 5 years in a high level ( = 4.37, S.D. = 0.35). (2) Guidelines for character of Knowledge and Academic Capability of graduate in community development from Program in community development; The development of academic knowledge about various community development tasks to solve problems for the community, the development of knowledge in the performance of duties and responsibilities, such as the public administration system in all departments to integrate with the operation. Developing knowledge in organizing work and controlling the assigned tasks such as project or activity development going into the area to understand the problems of people in the community. Preparation of government documents in parallel with spatial work and have general knowledge or up-to-date news in accordance with the situation, such as the use of English
