THE ISSUE COMMUNICATION OF LOVE AND CONFLICT NARRATIVE FROM THAI SERIES “THE BETRAYAL”

Abstract
This research aims to study the Issue Communication of Love from Thai series “The Betrayal” and Conflict Narrative through the Thai series “The Betrayal”. This qualitative research aiming to studied the Triangular theory of love, Components of love, and Conflict narrative. The research instruments is a record form and an observational form, collected through recording from observations of the Thai series “The Betrayal”, a total of 16 episodes. Data were analyzed from the Issue Communication of Love and Conflict narrative and descriptive content was presented from Thai series “The Betrayal”. The research results found that the issues communication of love in the Thai drama “The Betrayal” summarized into 7 issues of love as follows: 1) Liking 2) Infatuated Love 3) Empty Love 4) Romantic Love 5) Companionate Love 6) Fatuous) and 7) Consummate Love and the narrative of conflict through Thai series “The Betrayal” summarized into 4 issues as follows: 1) Intrapersonal Conflict is divided into 3 types as follows: 1.1) Approach – Approach Conflict is a conflict from individuals who must choose between more than 1 option. 1.2) Avoidance – Avoidance Conflict is a conflict that arises have to choose one option from two or more options. 1.3) Approach – Avoidance Conflict is a conflict that arises from have to choose to do something in two ways between positive or negative 2) Interpersonal Conflict 3) Intragroup Conflict 4) Intergroup Conflict.
