SELECTION FACTORS EXECUTIVES LOCAL ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZETIONS PEOPLE IN SINGBURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research aimed to 1) study the selection factors executives local administrative organizetions people in Singburi province, and 2) compare the selection factors executives local administrative organizetions people in Singburi province, classified by personal factors. This research was a quantitative study, surveying the opinions of people who had the right to vote in Singburi Province. The population used in this study consisted of 165,459 eligible voters in Singburi Province. The sample group consisted of 400 people, obtained from Taro Yamane's ready-made table using the simple random sampling method. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and hypothesis testing using F-values and t-values. The results of the research revealed that 1) the overall factors influencing the selection of local government executives by people in Singburi Province were at a moderate level. When considering each aspect from most to least influential, it was found that the evaluation and ranking of candidates had the highest mean value at a moderate level, followed by receiving information about the election (moderate level), creating criteria for deciding to vote (moderate level), and voting (moderate level), respectively. 2) In comparing the selection factors executives local administrative organizetions people in Singburi province, categorized by personal factors, it was found that gender, age, education level, occupation, and monthly income did not result in significant differences in selection factors
