A MODEL FOR PARTICIPATORY MANAGEMENT BASED ON THE 6 PRINCIPLES OF SARANIYADHAMMA OF THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE UNDER THE OFFICE OF PATHUM THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA

Abstract
This research aims to 1) study the needs for participatory management and 2) develop a participatory management model for educational institutions based on the six principles of Saraniyadhamma for educational committees under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office. This research utilized a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative research sample consisted of 307 educational committee members and piloted the participatory management model based on the six principles of Saraniyadhamma with 30 participants during June 2025. The qualitative research involved interviews with 13 members of the target group and focus groups with 9 experts. The research instruments were questionnaires, interview forms, and focus group manuals. Statistics used included frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, and a qualitative summary analysis. The results of the study revealed that: 1) The study on the needs for participatory management among educational committees under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office revealed that, overall, the needs across all four dimensions were at a high level. When ranked from highest to lowest, the dimensions were: participation in action, participation in perception, participation in decision-making, and participation in monitoring and evaluation. 2) The development of a participatory management model based on the Six Saraniyadhamma Principles for educational committees under the Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office found that the resulting knowledge encompassed the principles, objectives, systems, and mechanisms of participatory management. It also included projects promoting participatory management in accordance with the Six Saraniyadhamma Principles, operational methods, evaluation guidelines, success conditions, and strategies for integrating these principles into educational administration.
