Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) examine the level of growth mindset among school administrators, 2) investigate growth mindset factors influencing the success of curriculum management, and 3) examine leadership attribute factors affecting the success of curriculum management. The study employed a mixed methods research design, integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches. In the quantitative phase, a questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of 0.93 was used to collect data from 297 participants, including school administrators, deputy directors for academic affairs, heads of curriculum units, and heads of learning areas in secondary schools within the Bangkok Educational Innovation Area, Zones 1-2, during the 2025 academic year. The sample was selected using systematic random sampling. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation)and inferential statistics through multiple regression analysis. In the qualitative phase, semi-structured interviews were conducted with key informants, including school administrators and teachers responsible for curriculum management. The informants were selected through purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using content analysis. The results revealed that: 1) the overall level of growth mindset among secondary school administrators in the Bangkok Educational Innovation Area was high  (𝑥̅=4.31, S.D. = 0.61) ; 2) growth mindset factors significantly influenced the success of curriculum management at the .05 level, with openness to feedback and constructive criticism identified as the most influential factor; and 3) leadership attributes that most strongly contributed to successful curriculum management were ethics, integrity, and social responsibility. The findings indicate that successful curriculum management requires the integration of a growth mindset and ethical leadership, along with teacher participation and continuous data-driven curriculum development.
