DEVELOPMENT OF PAYMENT CHANNEL SYSTEM THROUGH E-PAYMENT FOR RENTERS OF THE ROYAL PROPERTY IN BANGKOK

This study aims to find out: 1) The effectiveness of the payment channel system through E-Payment for the renters of the Royal Property 2) Factors affecting the effectiveness of the payment channel system through E-Payment for the renters of the Royal Property, and 3) The guidelines to increase the effectiveness of the payment channel system through E-Payment for the renters of the Royal Property in Bangkok area. The study utilized the mixed method of qualitative and quantitative methodology. The research tool used for the qualitative method is the interview with 15 key informants. For the quantitative method, the tool was the questionnaire asking the randomly selected renters of the Royal Property in 50 districts of Bangkok. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, standard deviation and Pearson’s Correlation Coefficients.
The results were found that: 1) The effectiveness of the payment channel system through E-Payment for the renters of the Royal Property was, by average, at the highest level ( =4.39). The renters were satisfied with electronic payment system; the various channels for the rental payment, the speed for the payment, the time and money saving for traveling. 2) The factors affecting the payment channel system through E-Payment for the renters of the Royal Property were found, by average, at the highest level ( =4.24). It was found that the personnel have enough knowledge and skills to provide service on the payment system. There were more options for the payment. There was an appropriate manual to look for information in case of the troubles on processing the system, and 3) For the guidelines to increase the effectiveness of the payment channel system through E-Payment for the renters of the Royal Property; it was found that the responsible personnel should review the process and, rules and regulations in order to increase the speed of the entire process of the rental payment. Therefore, the renters will develop more trust to the system. The responsible personnel should be trained regularly in order to increase their skills in technology and solve problems regarding the E-payment. More applications with high performance should be adopted in the future for E-payment system.
