Abstract

21st-century skills are essential to life. Globalization and the net balance of environment and energy, urbanization, elderly society, and the private world are with oneself amidst the world of technology and the world of economy and trade. In rural areas, some urban societies use assistive technology to transmit information in various forms that influence the quality of life and societal changes.

Problem-based learning, or PBL, is a teaching style that can be used to improve the quality of learners' learning. One of the best ways is to develop students’ critical thinking, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills. Students’ learning process encourages learners to take part in learning and get practice solving various problems by themselves creatively, coming up with answers to questions they are facing through their stories and experiences.

From this article, social studies teachers must have a good understanding of the changes and adaptations of the 21st-century world that have an influence on human life to be integrated with social studies learning management, to mention the same direction, as well as being able to benefit from learning management that allows learners to interact with others in order to work together until becoming a new form of knowledge beyond what is in the textbooks and able to live happily in society.
