About the Journal

        Buddhist ASEAN Studies Journal (BASJ) aims to disseminate academic articles and research related to ASEAN studies in the dimensions of religion, education, society, economy, politics and art and culture of faculty members, academicians, researchers and the general public in ASEAN member countries and countries related to ASEAN.

Types of Articles Published in the Journal

          1) Research Article: A paper that presents research on ASEAN Studies, Buddhism, Philosophy,  Sociology, Laws, Political Science,  History, Geography, Art and Culture, Community Development, Education, Psychology, and Applied Interdisciplinary Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

         2) Academic Article: A paper that analyzes, criticizes, or presents new concepts.

        3) Review Article and Book Review: A paper that criticizes or explains reasons to support the points which the author agrees with or has a different opinion from an academic perspective.

        4) Special Article: A paper on anniversaries or important occasions.

Journal Publication Schedule 

            The Buddhist ASEAN Studies Journal publishes 2 volumes per year:

  • 1st Vol: January – June
  • 2nd Vol: July - December

Remark

  1. Buddhist ASEAN Studies Journal (BASJ) accepts both Thai and English articles. All articles are reviewed by the editorial team for completeness and correctness in accordance with the Journal format and sent to peer review from experts for consideration. However, the articles that submitted, the editorial team reserves the right not to return.
  2. The points of view and opinions expressed in the manuscript are of the authors’ responsibility, not of the the editorial team or the ASEAN Studies Center of  Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University.
  3. Articles must not copy the work of others. It has never been published anywhere before and is not under consideration by other journals. If found to be plagiarized or republished, it is the responsibility of the author.
