The Administration of Thai Sangha Affairs in the VUCA Era

Abstract

This academic article aims to examine the significance of managing the Thai Sangha's affairs within the context of the VUCA era, characterized by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity. It emphasizes the necessity of adapting to societal changes in economic, political, and cultural dimensions.

          Effective management of the Sangha's affairs requires a focus on developing governance systems, education, religious dissemination, and comprehensive social support. Additionally, the integration of technology and data is essential to enhance transparency and efficiency in management. Religious dissemination must modernize, such as through the use of digital media. Concurrently, education for monks and the public should prioritize skill development aligned with contemporary needs and establish sustainable support systems.

          Future Sangha management demands flexible strategies and planning capable of responding to changes, ensuring stability and sustainability at all levels of administration.
