บทบาทของนักการเมืองชายแดนใต้: การต่อสู้เพื่อสันติภาพชายแดนใต้บนพื้นที่การเมืองระดับชาติ

บทคัดย่อ
บทความนี้ได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงบทบาทของนักการเมืองชายแดนใต้
ต่อการสร้างสันติภาพชายแดนใต้บนพื้นที่การเมืองระดับชาติด้วยกลไกของรัฐสภาผ่านการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากนักการเมืองจำนวน 6 คน ข้อมูลสำคัญบ่งชี้ว่า นักการเมืองมองว่าการเข้าสู่การเมืองนั้นเป็นการต่อสู้แบบสันติวิธีรูปแบบหนึ่ง บทบาทของนักการเมืองชายแดนใต้เน้นใน 2 บทบาท คือ การเป็นตัวแทนประชาชน เพื่อสะท้อนเสียงของประชาชน และการขับเคลื่อนสันติภาพผ่านการปรับเปลี่ยนในเชิงนโยบาย
ผลการศึกษาพบว่านักการเมืองชายแดนใต้ขับเคลื่อนสันติภาพผ่านกลไกรัฐสภาโดยยึดวาระของประชาชนในพื้นที่เป็นหลัก เน้นการทำงานร่วมกัน โดยสะท้อนเสียงประชาชน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนการแก้ไขปัญหาประเด็นชายแดนใต้ ผ่านการตั้งกรรมาธิการ การยื่นญัตติ การอภิปรายไม่ไว้วางใจ เป็นต้น ทั้งนี้บทความพบว่าการทำงานในเชิงนโยบายยังประสบปัญหา เช่น การเพิกเฉยของรัฐสภา และความต่างขั้วทางการเมือง ซึ่งสิ่งเหล่านี้ส่งผลต่อการขับเคลื่อนนโยบาย โดยเฉพาะมิติที่เกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องความมั่นคงในพื้นที่ อีกทั้งพบว่า นักการเมืองชายแดนใต้แทบไม่มีบทบาทในเจรจาพูดคุยสันติภาพ/สันติสุข
