THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PARTICIPATIVE ADMINISTRATION AND TEACHERS’ TEAMWORK UNDER SAKAEO PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 1

This research aimed to: 1)study the level of teachers' opinions on participative administration under Sakaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 2)study teachers’ teamwork under Sakaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 and 3)study the relationship between participative administration and teachers’ teamwork under Sakaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The samples consisted of 302 teachers from schools under the Sa Kaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, The sampling step 1 use stratified random sampling by school size as a strata, and step 2 use simple random sampling from selected school. Data were collected using a researcher-developed questionnaire. The statistics applied for analyzed the data included mean, standard deviation, and Pearson’s correlation coefficient.
The research findings as follows: 1. Participative administration in schools under the Sakaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was rated at a high level overall (x̄ = 3.87, S.D. =0.50). When considering individual aspects, all were rated at a high level in the following order: 1) autonomy in work practices(x̄ = 4.00, S.D. = 0.56), 2) goal and objective setting (x̄ = 3.88, S.D. =0.55), 3) participation in evaluation (x̄ = 3.88, S.D. = 0.55), 4) participation in decision-making (x̄ = 3.88,S.D. = 0.57), 5) commitment (x̄ = 3.85, S.D. = 0.58), and 6) trust (x̄ = 3.84, S.D. = 0.58) . 2. Teachers’ Teamwork in schools under the Sakaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was also rated at a high level overall (x̄ = 3.91, S.D. = 0.54). When considering individual aspects, all were rated at a high level in the following order: 1) clear objectives and shared goals (x̄=4.00,S.D.=0.56),2) clarity in work practices (x̄=3.93, S.D. = 0.59), 3) interpersonal relationships (x̄=3.93,S.D.=0.60),4) joint decision-making (x̄=3.92,S.D.=0.58),5) communication (x̄=3.89, S.D.=0.59), and 6) trust (x̄=3.80,S.D.= 0.63). 3. The relationship between participative administration and teachers’ teamwork under Sakaeo Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was found to be significantly positive at a high level (r= 0.84) the statistical significance level at .01 level.
