DEVELOPMENT OF A LEARNING ECOSYSTEM MANAGEMENT MODEL BASED ON PARTICIPATORY MANAGEMENT TO ENHANCE THE DESIRABLE CHARACTERISTIC OF LIFELONG LEARNING AMONG STUDENTS AT PRIMARY SCHOOL STUDENTS
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aimed to: 1) investigate the fundamental information underlying the model, 2) develop the model, 3) examine the results of implementing the model, and 4) evaluate the model. The research was conducted in four phases: Phase 1 involved investigating the fundamental information of the model; Phase 2 focused on developing and validating the quality of the model; Phase 3 examined the results of implementing the model; and Phase 4 evaluated the model. The target groups consisted of students from Ban Mae Yang Rong School in the 2023 academic year (n = 96) and the 2024 academic year
(n = 93). The findings revealed that: The development of students’ desirable characteristics in terms of learning enthusiasm should involve the establishment of clear policies and the promotion of activities aimed at enhancing such characteristics. The learning ecosystem management model consisted of five components: principles, objectives, processes, measurement and evaluation, and success conditions. The results of the model implementation indicated that students’ desirable characteristics in learning enthusiasm were at a high level in the 2023 academic year ( = 4.34, S.D. = 0.73) and at the highest level in the 2024 academic year (
= 4.63, S.D. = 0.48), showing an improvement over time. The evaluation of the learning ecosystem management model in the 2024 academic year showed that its overall feasibility was at a high level (
= 4.43, S.D. = 0.63), while its usefulness was at the highest level (
= 4.65, S.D. = 0.50). Additionally, stakeholders’ satisfaction with the implementation of the model was at the highest level overall (
= 4.45, S.D. = 0.53)
