INSURED PERSONS’ OPINIONS REGARDING THE ELECTION OF INSURED PERSON REPRESENTATIVES TO THE SOCIAL SECURITY COMMITTEE IN 2023, KRABI PROVINCE

Abstract

This research article aims to study : 1) The level of opinions of Insured persons regarding the election of employees’s representatives to the social security committee in 2023, Krabi Province. and 2) Guidelines for promoting the election of employees’s representatives to the social security committee, Krabi Province. This research was a mixed-methods study. The study population consisted of 98,390 insured persons in Krabi Province, resulting in a sample size of 384. The research instrument was a questionnaire and interview form. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research findings revealed that: 1) Insured Persons’ Opinions Regarding the Election of Insured Person Representatives to the Social Security Committee in 2023, Krabi Province. Overall, it was at the highest level, ranked from highest to lowest in terms of average value. It was found that the representative's qualities had the highest average value ( = 4.68, S.D. = 0.60). Next in line were voting, voting rights ( = 4.67, S.D. = 0.60), and law enforcement, which had the lowest mean values ​​( = 4.65, S.D. = 0.65), respectively. and 2) Guidelines for promoting the election of insured representatives to the Social Security Board in Krabi Province found that: 1) Regarding the law, additional regulations regarding the duties of representatives should be added once they have been elected. If a representative misconducts, insured persons have the right to sign a petition to remove him/her. 2) Qualifications of representatives: Representatives must have knowledge and understanding of the context of the Social Security Office and have a vision for further development. Social Security work. 3) Qualifications and methods for registering to vote: Voters should register to vote via the electronic system. 4) In terms of public relations, public relations should be emphasized through social media, along with other channels. 5) In terms of voting, elections should be held electronically.
