Abstract

The research aims to study the influence of supply chain integration on competitive advantage and the influence of supply chain integration and competitive advantage on firm performance. Data from 238 handwoven silk entrepreneurs, receiving community product quality certification in the Lower Northeastern Region 1, were collected by questionnaires during the COVID-19 situation and analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics. This research found that handwoven silk entrepreneurs have moderate supply chain integration, high quality competitiveness, moderate cost competitiveness, and low firm performance. This research also found that internal integration positively affects the cost competitiveness, integration with customers has a positive effect on quality competitiveness, and both quality and cost competitive advantages positively influence firm performance. However, integration with suppliers has no effect on performance.
