Publication Ethics

1) Roles of the Editor

  • Scope and Policy Consistency: The editor ensures that every article submitted for publication aligns with the journal's scope and policy.
  • Conflict of Interest: The editor must avoid any conflicts of interest with reviewers or authors.
  • Confidentiality: The editor must not disclose information about authors or reviewers to any unrelated parties.
  • Quality and Standards: The editor is committed to maintaining and enhancing the journal's standards, striving for high quality and relevance to benefit readers. This includes continually developing the journal to remain contemporary and authoritative.
  • Ethical Standards: The editor must cease evaluation or reject articles if they are found to be plagiarized or have otherwise breached ethical standards.

2) Roles of the Reviewer

The journal adheres to a strict policy for evaluating articles and requests the cooperation of reviewers in the following areas:

  • Objective Recommendations: Reviewers should provide academic recommendations that are consistent, unbiased, and beneficial to the authors, avoiding personal opinions.
  • Confidentiality and Timeliness: Reviewers must evaluate the quality of articles confidentially, without disclosing any information to others, and must adhere to the evaluation timeline.
  • Scope and Conflict of Interest: Reviewers should decline to evaluate an article if it does not match their field of expertise or if they have a conflict of interest.
  • Plagiarism and Duplication: Reviewers must inform the editor if any part of the article is found to be similar to or duplicated in other works.

3) Roles of the Author

  • Originality and Exclusivity: Articles submitted to the journal must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under consideration by any other journal. Copyright infringement is the sole responsibility of the author.
  • Proper Citation: Authors must not plagiarize and must provide appropriate references when citing or presenting the work of others in their articles.
  • Authorship: Only individuals who have significantly contributed to the academic work should be listed as authors.
  • Copyright: Once published, the work is copyrighted by the Journal for Strategy and Enterprise Competitiveness. Authors must not distribute their published work to other sources without permission.

Conflict of Interest Policy for Reviewers

The Journal for Strategy and Enterprise Competitiveness has a strict policy to avoid conflicts of interest among the editorial team, reviewers, and authors. Reviewers must not have any conflicts of interest with the authors of the articles they evaluate, such as being co-authors or having any relationship that would compromise their ability to provide an independent and objective assessment.

To ensure academic transparency in the publication process, reviewers who have any direct or indirect relationship with an article must notify the editor in writing or through the journal's online system. This disclosure helps maintain the integrity and impartiality of the review process.
