Abstract

          The purposes of this research were to 1) study the current state, desirable state and need assessment for desirable characteristics in public mind of students in school under Srisaket primary educational service area office 4. 2) study development guideline for desirable characteristics in public mind of students in school under Srisaket primary educational service area office 4. The research process was divided to 2 phases: Phase 1 ; study the current state, desirable state and need assessment for desirable characteristics in public mind of students. The sample group used in the research was administrators and teachers, 331 people. The research tool was a questionnaire, reliability of the whole .87. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation. Phase 2; to study development guideline for desirable characteristics in public mind of students in school. The target group is 7 experts. The research tool was interview form, data analysis by content analysis.

          The research results were found that

1. The current state in overall was high average and the desirable state in overall was in the highest level. The need analysis for school management rank from high to low level was 1) public interest 2) sharing 3) helping.


2. Development guideline for desirable characteristics in public mind of students in school under Srisaket primary educational service area office 4, Include, 1) curriculum or program for development guideline for desirable characteristics in public mind of students 2) activities for development guideline for desirable characteristics in public mind of students in school 3) learning through real experiences and cooperate with parents.
