Abstract

Improving the quality of life of the people is an important issue that reflects the stability and progress of society. This must cover health, economy, society, and the environment, while the quality of life is what human beings desire. The objectives of this research were 1) to study the level of quality of life of the people in the municipality of Khok Khamin Sub-district, Phlapphla Chai District, Buriram Province and 2) to study the differences in the quality of life of the people in the municipality. and 3) to provide policy suggestions to improve the quality of life of the people in the municipality of Khok Khamin Sub-district, Phlapphla Chai District, Buriram Province. The sample group used in the study was people in the municipality of Khok Khamin Sub-district, Phlapphla Chai District, Buriram Province. The sample consisted of 384 people, determined using Yamane’s formula. The tools used in the research were questionnaires, with a confidence value of 0.92. The statistical methods used for data analysis included percentages, means, and standard deviations.

          The results showed that 1) the level of quality of life of the people in Khok Khamin Sub-district Municipality, Phlapphla Chai District, Buriram Province as a whole was very high. Khok Khamin sub-district by different groups, including gender, age, occupation, and average monthly income, classified by demographic factors. 3) Policy recommendations to improve the quality of life of the people in the municipality of Khok Khamin Sub-district, Phlapphla Chai District, Buriram Province It was found that government agencies, especially local government organizations in the area of responsibility, should promote all aspects of activities, including physical, mental, social and environmental aspects, in order to create relationships with all people so that the people feel that their quality of life has been improved comprehensively.
