Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Manuscripts for which no communication has been received from the author(s) for a period exceeding six (6) months will be removed from the ThaiJO 2.0 system by the Editorial Office. This policy is intended to ensure the efficient editorial management and maintain the quality of the journal.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • Authors may monitor the status of their manuscript through the ThaiJO 2.0 online submission system. Authors should provide a valid e-mail address and a reachable telephone number to facilitate prompt communication with the Editorial Office, particularly in urgent matters.

Author Guidelines

 

  • The manuscript must be typed on A4 paper using single spacing. Margins should be set as follows: top margin 1 inch; left and right margins 1.25 inches. Page numbers must be placed at the top right corner of each page.

  • The article title, both in Thai and English, must use TH SarabunPSK font, size 18 pt, and be center-aligned on the page.

Abstract (both Thai and English versions are required):

3.1) Thai Abstract:
The word “บทคัดย่อ” must be in TH SarabunPSK, size 18 pt, left-aligned. The abstract content should be written in TH SarabunPSK, size 16 pt, justified, and not exceed 300 words. (Thai Title and Thai Abstract are required only for manuscripts submitted by Thai authors. Manuscripts submitted by international authors are exempt from this requirement.)

3.2) English Abstract:
The word “ABSTRACT” must be in TH SarabunPSK, size 18 pt, left-aligned. The abstract content should be written in TH SarabunPSK, size 16 pt, justified, and not exceed 300 words.

Main Content of the Manuscript:

4.1) The manuscript should not exceed 20 A4 pages, including abstract, content, and references.

4.2) The article title (Thai and English) must be in TH SarabunPSK, 18 pt, bold.

4.3) The main body text must be in TH SarabunPSK, size 16 pt, justified.

5. Article Type: Research Article

- Manuscript structure (in Thai or English):
Thai abstract, English abstract, keywords, introduction, research objectives, literature review, conceptual framework, research methodology, research findings, discussion, conclusion, recommendations, acknowledgments (if any), and references.

6. Line spacing: Single spacing only.
Appendices, funding sources, and additional information should be included in the Acknowledgments section.
7. Citation style: APA 7 (American Psychological Association) — English citations only.

Author Ethics

  1. Authors must certify that the submitted manuscript is their own work. If the manuscript has co-authors, all co-authors must have read and approved the manuscript and consented to its submission for consideration and publication.

  2. Authors must certify that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published in any journal or other publication and is not currently under consideration for publication in another journal or publication.

  3. If authors incorporate ideas, statements, text, or other materials from the work of others into their manuscript, they must appropriately acknowledge and cite the original sources both in the text and in the reference list.

  4. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use any copyrighted images, figures, charts, or other copyrighted materials from the respective copyright holders, where required.

  5. Authors must present the data, facts, and content of the manuscript accurately, clearly, and honestly. Authors must not fabricate, falsify, or manipulate data, and must distinguish factual findings from personal opinions.

  6. Authors must disclose all sources of funding that supported the research or preparation of the manuscript, if applicable.

  7. All authors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may significantly influence or affect the content of the manuscript. Such conflicts of interest must be clearly stated in the manuscript.

  8. Authors must prepare their manuscripts in accordance with the journal's prescribed format and the guidelines for manuscript preparation.

  9. Authors have a responsibility to promptly notify the journal if they discover any significant errors or inaccuracies in their research after submission or publication, or if they identify any material incompleteness or inaccuracies in a published work, so that the journal may consider appropriate corrections, amendments, or retraction of the article.

Manuscript Withdrawal Policy

Request for Manuscript Withdrawal

  1. Authors who wish to withdraw a manuscript that is under consideration by the journal must submit a written withdrawal request to the Editorial Board, stating the reason for the withdrawal.
  2. A withdrawal request shall not take effect until it has been formally acknowledged and approved by the Editorial Board.
  3. If the manuscript has already entered the peer-review process, authors should recognize that withdrawal may impose a burden on the journal's editorial process and on reviewers who have already devoted their time and effort to evaluating the manuscript.
  4. If the withdrawal is requested because the authors have simultaneously submitted the same manuscript to another journal, the journal will proceed in accordance with its publication ethics policy and may terminate the consideration of the manuscript.

The Journal recognizes the importance of protecting the personal data of all users and is committed to complying with applicable data protection laws, including the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and relevant international data protection laws such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

When you register, submit a manuscript, or use the Journal’s website, the Journal collects your personal data, such as full name, email address, phone number, affiliation, area of expertise, and website usage information. This information may be obtained directly from you or from other sources with your consent.

  1. Purpose of Data Use

Your personal data will be used for managing manuscript submissions, conducting peer review, and publishing articles, as well as for related communications with the Journal. It may also be analyzed or used in other systems developed under the Journal’s operations or within journal network databases to enhance efficiency, quality, and convenience in providing academic services.

The Journal will not disclose your personal data to the public or third parties, except as permitted by your consent or as required by law. In cases where data is transferred internationally, the Journal will ensure that appropriate data protection measures are in place in compliance with applicable laws.

  1. Data Retention

The Journal will retain and protect your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

  1. Data Subject Rights

Under the PDPA and GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, as well as the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data (without affecting processing carried out prior to withdrawal).
