THE INSTRUCTIONAL LEADERSHIP OF SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS UNDER THE OFFICE IN PLAENG YAO DISTRICT UNDER CHACHOENGSAO PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 2

The purposes of this research were to study and compare the academic leadership of school administrators in Plaeng Yao District under the Chachoengsao Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, as perceived by teachers, classified by educational level, work experience, and school size, and to investigate guidelines for developing the academic leadership of school administrators. The sample consisted of 149 teachers from schools in Plaeng Yao District under the Chachoengsao Primary Educational Service Area Office 2 in the academic year 2025. The research instrument was a five-point rating scale questionnaire with an Index of Item-Objective Congruence (IOC) ranging from .80 to 1.00 and a reliability coefficient of .956. The statistics used for data analysis included the mean and standard deviation, t-tests, F-tests with Scheffé’s post hoc comparisons, and content analysis.The research findings revealed that
1) Overall, academic leadership among school administrators in Plaeng Yao District was rated at a high level. Student evaluation and learning progress monitoring received the highest ratings, followed by instructional supervision, while promoting an academic atmosphere received the lowest rating.
2) Teachers with different levels of education, work experience, and school sizes showed statistically significant differences in their overall opinions toward the academic leadership of school administrators at the .01 level.
3) Academic leadership development should focus on a clear academic vision, effective curriculum and instructional management, systematic supervision and student monitoring, and fostering a collaborative academic environment.
