FACTORS AFFECTING THE INNOVATIVENESS OF EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS

The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the level of factors affecting the innovativeness of educational institutions, 2) to study the level of the innovativeness of educational institutions, and 3) to study the significant factors affecting the innovativeness of educational institutions. The sample used in this research consisted of 103 school administrators under the Phitsanulok Primary Educational Service Area Office 2, obtained through purposive sampling. The research instrument used for data collection was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The statistics used for data analysis included mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression analysis.
The research findings were as follows: 1) The overall level of factors affecting the innovativeness of educational institutions was at a high level. 2) The overall level of the innovativeness of educational institutions was
at a high level. And 3) The significant factors affecting the innovativeness of educational institutions at the .05 level of statistical significance were the reward factor and the parent agency policy factor . These factors yielded a multiple correlation coefficient (R) of 0.483, a predictive power ( ) of 23.30%, and a standard error of 0.322. The predictive equations in raw scores and standardized scores can be written as follows:
