PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT BASED ON THE FOUR BASES OF SUCCESS FOR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS PHRAPARIYATTIDHAMMA SCHOOL, GENERAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT, UBON RATCHATHANI PROVINCE

This research, titled ‘Personnel Management Based on the Four Bases of Success for School Administrators of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Department, Ubon Ratchathani Province’, aimed to: 1) study the current conditions of personnel management of school administrators; 2) study the methods of personnel management based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipāda 4) for school administrators; and 3) propose guidelines for personnel management based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipāda 4) for School Administrators of Phrapariyattidhamma Schools, General Education Department, Ubon Ratchathani Province. This study employed a mixed methods research design, consisting of quantitative and qualitative approaches. The quantitative sample comprised 70 participants, including school administrators and teachers. The research instruments included: 1) questionnaires, 2) interview forms, 3) a management model, and 4) tests. The statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows. 1.The overall rating on condition of personnel management of school administrators was at a high level. When it was considered by aspect, it was found that recruitment and appointment as well as training and development were at a high level, whereas manpower planning was at a moderate level. 2.For the methods of personnel management based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipāda 4) of school administrators, it was found that school administrators were able to systematically apply the principles of Chanda (desire), Viriya (effort), Citta (commitment), and Vāmaṁsā (investigation) in manpower planning, recruitment and appointment, and personnel training and development.
3. Regarding the proposed guidelines for personnel management based on the Four Bases of Success (Iddhipāda 4), following activities should be emphasized: motivating personnel to work; continuously developing personnel potential; managing with transparency; and systematically monitoring and evaluation; for enhancing the effectiveness and sustainability of personnel management in educational institutions.
