MILESTONES OF SUCCESS IN SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION NONG BUA LAMPHU PROVINCE

This study aimed to: (1) examine the level of success milestones in school administration in Nong Bua Lamphu Province; (2) investigate the level of school administrative success; (3) analyze the relationship between success milestones and school administrative success; and (4) develop predictive equations for school administrative success based on success milestone factors. The sample consisted of 322 school administrators and teachers from primary schools under Nong Bua Lamphu Primary Educational Service Area Offices 1 and 2, determined using the Krejcie and Morgan sampling table. The research instrument was a 5-point Likert-scale questionnaire with an overall reliability coefficient of 0.96. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson’s correlation, and stepwise multiple regression analysis.
The findings revealed that both success milestones and school administrative success were at a high level. A strong positive correlation was found between success milestones and school administrative success (r = .950, p < .01). The regression analysis indicated that the selected predictors significantly contributed to the prediction of school administrative success. The unstandardized predictive equation was Ŷ = 0.037 + 0.462X₂ + 0.210X₆ + 0.154X₁ + 0.126X₃ + 0.040X₅, while the standardized equation was Ẑ = 0.530X₂ + 0.230X₆ + 0.171X₁ + 0.131X₃ + 0.044X₅. The model demonstrated a high level of predictive power (R² = .903, Adjusted R² = .901, F ≈ 580.00, p < .01), indicating that the predictors accounted for a substantial proportion of variance in school administrative success.
These findings underscore that success milestones are critical determinants of effective school administration. The study provides empirical evidence supporting the integration of milestone-based management frameworks into educational policy and practice to enhance administrative effectiveness and sustainable school development.
