Abstract

The objectives of this research paper are: 1) to study the concepts and theories in Buddhist ethics 2) to study the principles of Buddhist ethics in governing people; 3) to analyze the principles of possessing people according to Buddhist ethics The results showed that Buddhist ethics is the principle of practice as taught by the Buddha as a standard of human conduct from the beginning, middle, and high ground, so that human beings can lead a good life according to the ideals that humans can reach. Being a perfect human being, the general principle of Buddhist ethics is abstinence from evil. and focusing on doing good things physically, verbally and mentally in order to reach a pure mind and decisively eliminate defilements that enter the mind in order to achieve results and nirvana, the Buddhist ethics of ruling people, there are 2 things: You are the anchor of other people's hearts to create unity and love for one another in the group. society and nation because if in any place there is a sacrifice sharing generosity There is mutual support, caring, desire, justice and sincere responsibility. Integrity, Justice and Democracy There are 4 types of practices that are beneficial to oneself and for the benefit of others, namely: dana, piyavaca, samanatta, atthacariya 2. Brahma Vihara is the dharma which is the dwelling place of Brahma; there are 4 types: mercy, compassion, mutita, and upekkha.
