An Analytical Comparison of the Third Precept to the Foundation of Civil and Commercial Code

Abstract

The objectives of this research paper are 1) to study the 3rd Benjasila Principle in Theravada Buddhism, 2) to study the Civil and Commercial Code, and 3) to analyze the analytical comparison of the 3rd Benjasila Principle with the Civil and Commercial Code. This research is a documentary research. by studying the Tripitaka Buddhist academic papers Civil and Commercial Code and Legal Academic Documents Then present the research results by descriptive analysis method. The results of the study revealed that the third principle of the Benchasila, Kamesumicchara Veramani, is abstinence from all sexual misconduct. which is an unhealthy behavior and it is a social principle of human beings that fosters respect for the rights of those who are loved and cherished by others.
