Village Committees’ Opinions on Good Governance-Based Administration at Tambon Kamphaeng Administrative Organization in Kaset Wisai District, Roi Et Province

The objectives of the research were: 1) to study village committees’ opinions on good governance-based administration at Tambon Kamphaeng administrative organization in Kaset Wisai district, Roi Et province, 2) to compare their opinions on good governance-based administration atthe aforesaid area, resting upon differences in their genders, ages and educational levels and, 3) to
study their suggestions and development guidelines on good governance-based administration at the aforesaid area. The research tools were composed of a semi-structured interview, a camera and a tape recorder. The results revealed that: 1. Village committees’ opinions on good governance-based administration at Tambon Kamphaeng administrative organization in Kaset Wisai district, Roi Et province were comprehensively rated at the ‘more’ scales in all six aspects. In term of a single one, three aspects with the highest, lower and lowest means included those of: i) participation, ii) ethics) and iii) value of money. 2. The comparative results of residents’ opinions on its good governance-based administration in the district confirmed that variables of their genders, ages and educational levels showed no significant differences in the overall aspect.
3. Suggestions for its good governance-based administration were recommended in descending order of three frequencies that its administrators should: i) executives should be administered by the anchor and the requirements of main impacts, ii) the executives and Tambon Kamphaeng administrative organization’s officials should create conscience occurs in the performance of duties, iii) should
manage and use the limited resources by consideration of the principal economy, cause value, andthe most benefits to public.
