Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the management of solid waste in the households of the people to compare the management of solid waste in people's households. and to study the guidelines and recommendations on the management of household solid waste of the people using quantitative research methods The instrument used was a questionnaire, a sample of 376 people who analyzed the data using a computer statistical package. The results of the research were as follows: 1. Household solid waste management of people in Chum Phae Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Chum Phae District, Khon Kaen Province overall was at a moderate level (X = 2.83). waste disposal Reducing the amount of solid waste Waste sorting In terms of utilization of solid waste, including 4 aspects, it was found that there were no differences classified by gender and income. The difference was statistically significant at the 0.05 level. 3. Recommendations on household solid waste management can be summarized as 4 issues: 1) waste sorting before disposal 2) refrain from using certain containers or packaging. 3) Reducing the amount of waste and 4) Maintaining cleanliness of households and communities. As for additional opinions on solid waste management of Chum Phae Subdistrict Administrative Organization, they can be summarized in 4 points: 1) Garbage collection. of the staff storage frequency and number of staff; 2) the provision of standardized waste bins; and 3) the organization of projects/activities related to encouraging people to keep their houses and communities clean; and 4) Chum Phae Subdistrict Administrative Organization The agency should provide a standardized waste disposal facility.
