Ethics in Development: Indicators and Processes for Cultivating the Transparency of Local Government Organization in Ubonratchathani Province

Abstract

          The objective of this research is to study the development ethics indicators and the process of enhancing transparency in local administration organizations of Ubonratchathani province. Mixed method was used in this research by quantitatively and qualitatively gathering information. For the quantitative method, questionnaires were distributed among sampling groups of 620 persons and coefficient reliability of the tool was gained through Cronbach's alpha method. Information was analyzed by computer statistical package to get the average, percentage and standard deviation. For the qualitative method, in-depth interview with open-ended questions was used among the executives of local administration organizations, government officials, government employees and the people getting the service. The total seventeen persons interviewed voluntarily provided the information.
