Abstract

This This research served the purposes: 1) to study the managements of informationfor school administrations of elementary schools under the Office of Primary Education Service, Roi Et Office Area 2, 2) to compare the managements of the information for school administrations in elementary schools under the preceding office in Roi Et province’s Kaset Wisai district with the classification of their different positions, ages and work experiences, 3) to examine their suggestions for enhancing the managements of information systems for administrations of elementary schools under the same office. The sampling groups were elementary school administrators and teachers responsible for information systems of their schools, numbering 118 individuals. The research tool used for conducting the research was the questionnaire with the content validity of every question between 0.67 and 1.00, and its reliability at 0.91. Data were analyzed with the computer software package to find out frequencies, percentages, arithmetic means, and standard deviations. Differences in arithmetic means were tested with t-tests and F-tests, and differences in each pair of arithmetic means analyzed with the method of LSD (Less Significant Difference).

          The research results were found as follows;

  1. The levels of arithmetic means used in elementary school administrators ‘and teachers’ managements of the information for the administrations of elementary schools under the aforesaid office have had their comprehensive means in five aspects of information for: i) schools’ basic systems, ii) learners, iii) academic affairs administrations, iv) school administrations, and v) reports of their performances. And the overall level.
  2. Comparative results of the levels used in their managements of information for school administrations of the same elementary schools under it have been found that theirdiiferent positions, ages and work experiences show no comprehensive differences in

the managements in all five aspects. In contrast to the classification of their different ages, they have found significant differences in managements, with the statistical significance level at .05. With their different ages, arithmetic means of elementary school administrators and teachers aged not over 30 years are higher than those aged from 30 to 45 years and over 45 years, with the statistical significance level at .05.

  1. Results of studying elementary school administrators ‘and teachers ‘suggestions have been found advising of enhancing their managements of the information for administrations of their elementary schools under the office mentioned above. Suggestions are that their schools ought to: 1) have basic data kept by putting the emphasis on fresh data in the aspect of information for schools’ basic systems,2) keep learner’s information stored as an individual for their behaviors learning achievements in the aspect of information for learners, 3) inform learners’ guardians of their learning achievements every semester through the internet networks in the aspect of information for academic affairs administrations of schools, 4) have new tools and state-of-the-art technologies provided for the management systems in the aspect of information for school administrations,5)have high speed internet networks installed in the aspect of information for reports of their performances. To do so, responsible personnel can once send considerable amounts of information and reports of their performances to the higher offices they belong to.
