The objectives of the research were 1) to study the performances of school administrators attached to the Office of Primary Education Service, Roi Et Area 3, 2) to compare the performances of the school administrators as mentioned, classified by age, education and job experience, and 3) to survey the suggestions proposed by the said respondents. The samples were teachers teaching in those schools during the academic year 2017, totally 312 in number. The device used for data collection was the five-rating scale questionnaire, with IOC of 0.67-1.00 and reliability of .92. The computer program was used for data analysis, and statistical tools were frequency, percentage, mean, S.D,t-test and f-test (One way ANOVA).
The research results were found as follows;
- The performances of the school administrators attached to the Office of Primary Education Service, Roi Et Area 3, were found, in both overall and individual aspects, to stand at the ‘MUCH’ level. The aspect that showed the highest mean was budget administration, followed by general administration and personnel administration. The aspect that stood at the bottom was academic administration.
- The comparison of the performances of the administrators in the said area, classified by age and education was found, in both overall and individual aspects, to show no statistically significant difference, which did not meet with the syntheses set. The comparison by job experience was found, in both overall and individual aspects, to show no statistically significant difference, either, with exception to the aspects of budget administration, academic administration and general administration that showed the statistically significant difference at the same rate of .05.
3.The suggestions proposed by the respondents were the following: The administrators were recommended to take a role of academic leadership. The teachers and education-related personnel should be provided with an opportunity to develop and upgrade their potentials in terms of both competency and intelligence and the administrators were required to take more responsibilities in boosting morale, appreciating and honoring the teachers as well as providing them with security and advancement in their profession.
