Development of Innovative Human Resource Management Model in the Digital Era for Eastern Economic Corridor

This research aims to present guidelines for developing innovative human resource management models in the digital era for Eastern Economic Corridor. The research team used amixed methods research, namely using quantitative research methods set a quota example to collect data with human resource practitioners in the 3 provinces of the Eastern Special Development Zone, comprising Chachoengsao, Chonburi and Rayong, a total of 450 samples were used by random sampling. Use questionnaires as a tool to collect information. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. and inferential statistics in terms of qualitative research there is a group of key informants. Academic institution labor academics and human resource managers in the business sector, a total of 10 peoples, and using a specific sampling method. The results showed that businesses in the Eastern Special Development Zone have problems with human resource management innovations with a lack of clarity in vision. Lack of networking to exchange information and resources with the human resource network from outside businesses coupled with the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic, it is necessary to change the management style by applying digital technology in its operations. The innovation model of human resource management must focus on the innovation of training and development of human resources the most, followed by innovation in human resource recruitment and selection. and innovation, compensation and employee relations, respectively. As for the skills of human resources in the digital age employees should have the skills to learn modern technology as much as possible, followed by social media knowledge. And there is an analysis and decision to solve problems, respectively. Therefore, business organizations should encourage human resources to develop innovative forms of human resource management. By enhancing new skills to respond in the digital era as well as developing a management system within the organization with digital technology to help the organization be strong and able to stand in the midst of changes in the digital era.
