lad AN APPLICATION OF SANGKHAHAVATTHU DHAMMA IN LOCAL ELECTION DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE IN THE AREA OF NOPPITAM DISTRICT, NAKHON SI THAMMARAT PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1. To study the application of Sanghawatthadhamma principles in the development of people's elections for local government organizations. in Nopphitam district Nakhon Si Thammarat Province 2. To analyze the problem. and guidelines for development by applying Sanghawatthadhamma principles in the election of local government organizations of the people in Nopphitam district Nakhon Si Thammarat Province The design of this research was a mixed research consisting of quantitative research. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The sample group used in the research was 396 people and qualitative research. By interviewing with key informants, 7 informants/person. To analyze quantitative data with package computer program and qualitative data with descriptive method.

            The results of the research were as follows: 1) The results of the study of the use of Sankhahavatthuthamma principles in developing the election of local government organizations of the people. in Nopphitam district Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, including all 4 aspects, found that the overall level was at a high level. When considering each aspect, it was found that the Piyawaja aspect had the highest average, followed by the dharma aspect and the atthacriya aspect. 2) Problems and guidelines for development by applying the principle of Sankhahavatthuthamma in the election of local government organizations of the people. in Nopphitam district Nakhon Si Thammarat Province found that people do not understand the election process. Not respecting the principle of 1 person per 1 vote, do not vote electoral bias Approaches for development by applying the Sangkhahavatthudhamma principles in the election of local government organizations of the people in Nopphitam district Nakhon Si Thammarat Province Campaigns should be made to educate the public about the electoral process. Respect their rights, 1 right, 1 vote. Choose representatives based on policies and qualifications.
