DEMOCRACY POLITICAL CULTUER OF THAI PEOPLE IN BAN KLANG SUB-DISTRICT MUNICIPALITY, MUEANG DISTRICT, PAYHUMTHANI PROVINCE

The objectives of this research were 1) to study democracy political culture of people in Ban Klang Sub-district Municipality 2 to compare democracy political culture of people in Ban Klang Sub-district Municipality, Mueang district, Pathumthani province classified by personal factors.This research was quantitative method research. The conceptual framework of this research was studied from Thinnaphan Nakhata. The population of the study consisted of 11,831 people who lived in Ban Klang Sub-district Municipality, Mueang district, Pathumthani province determined by Krejcie & Morgan. The samples were 370 people. The reliability values were .89. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One Way ANOVA.
The research results revealed that: 1)level of democracy political culture of people in Ban Klang Subdistrict municipality as a whole was at much level. When considering each aspect from the highest to the lowest average and it found that 8 aspects were at much level as followed belief in democracy aspect was at the highest, followed by respect for democratic rules aspect, participation in political activities aspect, civic awareness aspect, optimism aspect ,insist on the importance and dignity of individuals aspect , constructive and rational criticism aspect , and lack of authoritarian ideas aspect was at the lowest average. 2) compare democracy political culture of people in Ban Klang Subdistrict municipality, Mueang district, Pathumthani province classified by personal factors found that people with different genders, ages, marital statuses, educational levels, occupations, monthly incomes as a whole no difference which was not in accordance with the assumptions set.
