ROLE OF PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN INBURI SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION, INBURI DISTRICT, SINGBURI PROVINCE

The objective of this research is to study the level and role of public participation in the Inburi Subdistrict Administrative Organization. Inburi District Singburi Province. This research article was quantitative. The research area was Inburi Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Inburi District, Singburi Province. The sample was people aged 18 years and over who lived in Inburi Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Inburi District, Singburi Province, totaling 390 samples, using Taro Yamane's calculation formula. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data was analyzed by using percentages and standard deviation.
The results found that: 1) The level of role of public participation in Inburi Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Inburi District, Singburi Province, in all four areas, had a low level of participation. When considering income, it was found that monitoring and evaluation people had the lowest average participation. 2) The role of public participation in Inburi Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Inburi District, Singburi Province, namely, should strengthen people to participate in the operations of Subdistrict Administrative Organization by providing knowledge about the roles and duties of people and should encourage people to be conscious of participating in the operations of Subdistrict Administrative Organization by emphasizing the good results and benefits that would be received.
